The White Horse’s innovative menu is inspired by Natalie’s classic French training and extensive travels, combining culinary flavours from across the world.

Flooded with natural light and tasteful decor, our spacious restaurant has a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere with original features such as the Inglenook fireplace and beautiful open beams. Head through to our peaceful terrace where you can enjoy a drink or dine al fresco whilst soaking up the summer sun.
We have carefully created menus to appeal to all appetites and lifestyle choices but we particularly love these dishes and hope you will too.
Hand-picked white crab meat from the south east coast, subtle Mexican flavours brought together with zesty avocado and tamarind on a crunchy corn crisp. Perfect with our signature Margarita cocktail.
Truffled Polenta and Asparagus
Polenta flavoured with Parmigiano Reggiano and white truffle, chargrilled new season asparagus and truffle shavings. We recommend a glass of ‘Alain Geoffroy’ Chablis Premier Cru Beauroy.
Lamb Rump with Wild Mushroom Risotto
Perfectly cooked spring lamb, pearl barley risotto with sautéed wild mushrooms and mascarpone – a hearty, refined dish. This style of this dish deserves to be served with Fleurie ‘Domaine De La Bouronière’.
Lemon Curd Meringue
Layers of homemade meringue and lemon curd stacked together with a citrus cream. A light and refreshing dessert to finish your meal.
Open all day long, guests can relax in one of our sumptuous velvet armchairs after a long country walk or join us for a pre-dinner cocktail in this elegant and cosy room. We serve a premium range of wines and champagnes available by the glass, spirits and beer, as well as a carefully curated cocktail menu which can also be enjoyed out on the terrace in warmer weather.
