Although our premises are currently closed and undergoing a complete refurbishment, we look forward to opening in May 2022 where guests can enjoy a peaceful escape, whether that’s staying with us, dining with us or popping in for a wellness treatment.
The White Horse is located in the tranquil village of Boughton-under-Blean, perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful Kent countryside, the coastal town of Whitstable and the historic city of Canterbury.

Our journey so far…
Formerly a 15th century coaching inn, Natalie and Andrew Hennessy are currently in the process of lovingly renovating this charming building.
In 2018 they transformed The East Kent Pub in Whitstable into a thriving gastropub at the heart of the community, where great food and excellent service is all part of The East Kent Experience.
Today, here at The White Horse, most of the renovation work is now complete. Every room has been completely transformed, original features have been cleaned and the beautiful furniture has arrived and is in place. The Nest wellness treatment room is being prepared to welcome you soon. The new kitchen is currently being installed, the cellar is being filled and the team are working hard on the finishing touches.
